Minutes of the meeting of Spridlington Parish Council held on Tuesday 8th October 2019 at 7.30pm in Spridlington Village Hall.

Present: Councillors Marris, Kealey, Clough and Smith

1.   Apologies and their reasons for absence were received from Councillors Grant and Cowling.

2.   To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the 2000 Local Government Act. Members may make any declarations of interest at this point, but may also make them at any point during the meeting.  There were no declarations at this point.

3.   Neighbourhood Plan and letter to residents. – A letter had been drafted regarding the NHP. Members had time to read the correspondence. Councillor Marris proposed, Councillor Clough seconded and councillors Clough and Smith unanimously agreed that the letter was acceptable to be sent to parishioners.

4.   Any other items for discussion – Councillors Marris and Kealey had met with a representative of the AD plant along with the haulage contractor. Concerns had been expressed at the speed on the highway that vehicles were travelling.  A sweeper had been seen at the end of the road.  A limit of 20mph had been placed through the village, which appears to be adhered to.  A possible meeting with Mr J Lockwood may be held.
